Popular Nigerian singer B-Red has offered his view on the existence of online trolls and their impact on artists, including his cousin Davido.
In a recent interview with City 105.1, B-Red was asked about his thoughts on Davido being frequently criticized online, especially by Wizkid and his fans.
He stated that online criticism comes with fame, noting that even music legends like Michael Jackson faced similar treatment.
B-Red stressed that fame invites scrutiny, and it’s essential for artists to develop a thick skin to navigate the industry.
“How do you feel when he (Davido) gets dragged online, especially by the renowned star, Wizkid?” the show host asked.
In response, he said:
“If you don’t get dragged you never blow o. Even the greats like Michael Jackson, if you post picture them go abuse you. If you’re famous everybody must have something to say. So that’s life.”
